I do apologize for not writing on Wednesday. I have tonsolitus and it's absolutely kicking my ass. I never had my tonsils removed so they get inflamed and I get a fever and, sadly, fever dreams. Not to mention the ass upstairs (of my apartment) won't shut the hell up so I can't sleep a wink. Between fever dreams and not being able to sleep due to his music blasting, his stamping, and his knocking my things around by the way he jumps up and down (he is like a 250 pound elephant who tries to jump around like a ballerina when his music plays) I am just doing absolutely terrible. I feel like hell. My dad's new wife has been here for 2 days and already she is absolutely disgusted by the way he does his things upstairs and makes life hell for us on a lower level.
Westh: Sun Thieves is on pages 120. I'm thinking about making it around 200 pages in long format so around 230 pages in 5.25x8 in book length.
Earlier today (even though it's 10:22 in the morning!) someone posted a review on my first novel (The Surgeon with Glasses). He was one of those people that even if God had written it he wouldn't have given it a 5 star rating. He gave it 4/5 and said this:
Title: glued to it.
Review: I am not the type of person who starts a book and finishes it in one day. I usually get half way through a book and it bores me, so I put it down and save it for another day.. and never pick it up again. Once I received this book, I could NOT put it down. I LOVED it. It made me want to be nicer to everybody.
So that's groovy!
In other news I downloaded all the episodes of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers and am now going to continue watching them by starting episode 45. This show has enough cheese in it to make an omelet!...I love it!
Here's hoping I get better soon! In my last news of the week I submitted my Hole in a Helmet to Penguin's publisher's contest. The pitch sucked absolute nuts so I probably won't pass the first round. IF, and only IF, I do get by with the taped up pitch them I feel strong in my ability to get in first, second, or third place. Then again, this wouldn't be the first time someone has rejected my book! Nor shall it be the last!
